Samuel L. Jackson reassures us we’re going to get a bullet.

We’ve had posters come in from out of the cold this week, but now a brand new trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight has arrived online. Naturally, the footage is as cool as the snow hanging off Kurt Russell’s ‘tash (I know I’ve mentioned it in every story, but just look at that thing!), with all the potential killers, double crossers and snake-tongued ne’er do wells in attendance.

Descending on a snowy western landscape after the American Civil War, The Hateful Eight sees Russell’s John Ruth aka The Hangman and his captive Daisy Domergue aka The Prisoner (Jennifer Jason Leigh) seek refuse in a cabin along with Major Marquis Warren (Samuel L. Jackson) when the weather gets a fierce. They may be out of the cold but they soon find themselves in a very heated atmosphere when other inhabitants of the establishment rock up, some of which may not be who they say they are.

Nerves will be tested and triggers will inevitably be pulled all in the confines of what looks to be an incredibly atmospheric establishment. Add in to the mix the likes of Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Madsen, Tim Roth, Walton Goggins, Bruce Dern and Demián Bichir and you can bet we’re in for a rip-roaring good time. Only problem is we’re going to have to wait until January 8 next year to see it in U.K. cinemas, whilst our American chums will be getting it Christmas Day. Fine, we’ll settle for our festive jumpers and a Terry’s Chocolate Orange.
