Bryan Singer will be getting another surge of retweets in the next hour or so, following his latest 140 character fitted announcement that he’s getting another familiar member of the X-Men back for his sequel, Days Of Future Past. Following the news of Omar Sy joining the cast over the weekend, now the word is out that Halle Berry‘s weather witch, Storm is going to be making an appearance as well.

Whilst it’s solid confirmation from the real head of the school for the gifted, there have already been Storm warnings from Berry who gave a fairly solid indication that she was on board already. Speaking to Access Hollywood the Cloud Atlas star told the site, “I’m in. I think I’m in. I love Storm. That’s one of my favorite characters that I’ve played. And people love that character as well.”
Days Of Future Past is adapted from a popular story-arc from the X-Men comic book universe and sees the mutants fight to avoid a future where those with special abilities are imprisoned, kept away from the humanity.
Just in case you’ve been away from the internet for more than a day, this now means that Berry will be joining (cue Ace Ventura inhale) Omar Sy, Peter Dinklage, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore. I’d just like to add, god bless copy and paste.
Keep an eye on Singer’s tweeting antics in the future for more casting details, or you know check back here as well.
