It appears that January Jones and her scantily-clad baddie, Emma Frost might not be making an appearance in the prequel sequel, X-Men: Days Of Future Past – and if she is, Jones doesn’t know about it.

Speaking at the Sundance Film Festival to one of Collider‘s cohorts, January Jones explained that the chance of her turning up to get in on the mutant madness for a second time don’t seem too likely…

“I don’t know that I’m in it, I don’t think Emma’s in this one.  Well they haven’t told me if I am (laughs).  I wouldn’t put it past them though, I got the script for the first one on the airplane on the way there.  It’s called Days of Future Past I think, and I think it’s more about James [McAvoy] and Michael [Fassbender] and then Patrick [Stewart] and Ian [McKellan], and I think it’s gonna go back and forth with those so I don’t think Emma’s in those bits.  I don’t know, I really don’t know.”

It’s not a solid ‘no’ I guess but it certainly doesn’t sound too promising. If Jones doesn’t make an appearance it’ll be a shame considering Frost’s value to X-Men comic universe. Having said that, Hugh Jackman recently discussed the tightly crammed cast list that already has Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender and Nicholas Hoult is still set to expand. Speaking to The Daily Mail, the proud owner of the adamantium revealed that…

“Every other actor who’s ever put on a superhero uniform will be in it,” he said. “There’s an element of time travel and, naturally, it will be action-packed.”

So who knows? Jones may get the call. Fingers crossed.
