Like a bubbling cauldron close to boiling over, more cast members are being thrown into the pot for Harry Potter spin-off, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. Following the likes of Eddie Redmayne, Colin Farrell, Katherine Waterston, and Ezra Miller signing up, THR have revealed that Jon Voight is now set to join, along with Gemma Chan and Carmen Ejogo as well.
Naturally details of who they could play are being kept away from our hungry Muggle eyes, but there’s no denying (particularly with Voight), that the cast is an intriguing one. It also clarifies just how much American talent will be involved considering that the film will focus on Newt Scamander’s (Redmayne) trip to New York where he meets some friendly folk, and others not so much.
One name among the list that’ll no doubt be getting some attention in the years to come will be Ezra Miller, who is set to be starring as The Flash for Warner Bros. other tentpole strategy with the DC Universe. Coincidentally that just got a brand new director, which you can read about here. As for these Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, that’s being tamed by David Yates who will be prepping for a release date of November 18, 2016.
