Taking bullet dodging to a microscopic-level, Paul Rudd’s size-shifing superhero Ant-Man has arrived in a brand new poster for the upcoming Marvel film that we all seem to be forgetting about. Confirming his talents with the insect he’s named after, Paul Rudd looks to be bringing winged but minuscule death from above and will probably have some sort of witty line to say whilst doing so. Great stuff.
Directed by Peyton Reed (and not Edgar Wright, so let it go), the film sees Rudd as Scott Lang, a low-level thief who finds redemption from Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), a scientist who created a suit that can shrink the wearer down to minuscule size for jobs that no normal human can handle. This partnership leads the two on a mission to thwart the competition who comes in the form of Darren Cross (House of Cards and The Strain’s Corey Stoll), who plans to use the technology for his own villainous purposes.
Marvel have put very little on show, which is surprising considering the film is only a month and a half away from release. We can only wait and see what happens when the Ant-Man cometh July 17.
