It looks like this week has been taken over by Stallone and his crew of bullet-spewing supporting stars for The Expendables 3. Yes, if you thought that casting news couldn’t get any bigger following on from the confirmation that Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson and Antonio Banderas, well you’d be right. Still the latest addition feels like a much-needed dose of young blood and it comes in the form of Glenn Powell, who will be getting in on the action from the safety of his laptop.
As revealed by Variety, the fresh addition to the film will take the role of a high-level hacker and expert drone pilot who will be blowing up weapons factories and such all with a mouse and a keyboard. The question is whether he’ll be sending death from above for or against Sly’s team. Either way, bets are already on that he could head the way of Luke Hemsworth (almost forgot he was even in Expendables 2 ) and possibly die a rather extravagant death before the credits roll. Or maybe not, surprise us won’t you Sly?
Just in case you’ve forgotten in the last 24 hours, Powell will be joining the cast of Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Kellan Lutz, Ronda Rousey, Victor Ortiz Antonio Banderas and Mel Gibson. See them all in action when The Expendables 3 arrives in cinemas in August.
